Glossy: A glossy finish is visually stunning. It gives vibrancy to images by producing deeper, cleaner and crisper lines and colours. A glossy laminate is durable in that it repels dust, dirt and fingerprints.
Matte: The velvety texture of the finish makes for a pleasant calm experience. The matte is less reflective than gloss which gives a more natural look to images. Scratches and scuffs are more readily absorbed by matte covers.

I bought this book for my little baby who is now 5 months. It is one of his favourite to read before bedtime. The contrasts, the colors and the drawing are eye catching for him, while I do love to read about nepalese culture through the QueRy van in the back. I like the fact that there is more to discover besides its pages. My other 2 kids like the book too because they can describe it and show it to their little brother while they all bond together.
